Ultra Trail Tapalpa
Ultra Trail Tapalpa takes place in Tapalpa, Jalisco on 30 and 31 October 2026. The event is part of the Ultra Trail México Series and includes multiple trail races, a Trail Fest expo and various on-site activities. Routes run through valleys, trails and the characteristic large stones of Tapalpa, traversing forests of pine, oyamel, ash and oak.
Distances and elevation gains:
- 50K Rokosa route with +1,900 m of ascent
- 30K Kometa route with over +1,000 m of ascent
- 15K Lakanija route with nearly +800 m of ascent
- 10K Medialuna nocturnal route with +600 m of ascent
- 6K Mágica y Lideratto route, pet friendly option available
Registration opens on the event website as a direct purchase until each distance sells out; there is no preinscription, no waitlist, and payment is by credit or debit card. Participants must complete personal data during registration. A mandatory equipment table and recommended gear are provided for competitors.
Photographs of competitors are offered for purchase during registration or via the participant account on Active Endurance. Team registration is supported and the event recognizes the top three teams. Competition rules and participant commitments are established to promote fair play, safety and environmental care, aligned with international competition standards.
