About the race

The Ultra Trail do Marão is a mountain trail event based in Amarante, Portugal, taking place from 1 to 4 April 2027. The races follow historic trails across the Marão range, with sections over snow or rock, and routes limited by the rivers Tâmega to the west, Corgo to the east and Douro to the south. The event presents multiple race options and a walking route that use paths and summits of the cordillera.
