Overview
The Ultra-Trail des Chic-Chocs is a trail running event held in the heart of the Gaspé Peninsula. For its seventh edition, the competition offers technical courses located in a mountain range featuring more than 25 peaks over 1,000 meters in elevation. The routes consist of 98% single-track trails.
The event primarily takes place within the Parc national de la Gaspésie and the Réserve faunique de Matane. The main hub of the race is the UTCC Village, located at the intersection of Route 14 and Route 299 in Mont-Albert.

Nine distances are available to accommodate various levels of experience:
- 170 km (linear course)
- 88 km (linear course)
- 45 km (Chic-Chocs sector)
- 39 km (Matane Wildlife Reserve)
- 26 km (Mount Xalibu)
- 23 km (Mount Albert)
- 15 km (Matane Wildlife Reserve)
- 10 km (Lac aux Américains)
- 4 km (all ages)
Practical Information
Registration includes access to the UTCC Village, a podium ceremony, access to restrooms and showers, and on-site entertainment. SÉPAQ daily access fees for the day of the race are included in the registration for runners. A medal is provided to participants who register more than 30 days before the event. Specific parking regulations apply on Route 14, as the SÉPAQ Discovery and Services Center parking is reserved for its own customers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
