RMB Ultra-trail Cape Town
RMB Ultra-trail Cape Town is a series of mountain trail races held in Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula. The 2026 event is scheduled for 20 to 22 November. Races use trails within and around Table Mountain National Park and adjacent coastal and wineland areas.

The UTCT 100 mile route runs from the northern mountain range to the southern mountains and includes trails through Silvermine, Kalk Bay, Kommetjie and Simonstown. That course has 7 516 m of vertical gain. Other races traverse parts of the northern mountain range, including Table Mountain, Lion's Head, Signal Hill, the 12 Apostles trail, Llandudno, Hout Bay, the Constantia Winelands, the upper slopes of Kirstenbosch Nature Reserve, and Devil's Peak.
All races cover technical terrain with steep ascents and descents. Weather can vary widely on the day, from single digit temperatures on top of Table Mountain in the early morning to temperatures above 30 degrees later. Participants are expected to take care and appropriate precautions when running within Table Mountain National Park and its surrounds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
