About the race
The Ultra Trail Amazônica is a two-day non stop survivor format event in the Amazon rainforest that includes Trail Run and Mountain Bike modalities and requires athlete self-sufficiency. The program includes an optional tourist packet on 30/10/2026 with a cultural reception at Aldeia Tatuyo and a 5 km prologue in the village; the main competition days are 31/10/2026 and 01/11/2026 with routes starting from the Praia da Comunidade do Livramento, Tarumã Mirim, and operations based in Manaus for transfers.
Course layouts are defined when river low-water levels are reached and may be adjusted to verify crossings of riverbeds, igarapés and other passages. Routes use a wide variety of Amazon terrain: forest trails, river beaches, marshes, gullies, clay and sand areas, roots, trunks, foliage, pastures and climbs, and include passages through indigenous and riverside communities, farms and access roads.
