Beyond London is a trail running event organised by Wild Deer Events on 20 June 2026 in London. Two distances are offered:
- 55 km Ultra
- 25 km Trail
Entry fees are listed between £45 and £70. Entries include chip timing, a fully signed route, downloadable GPX files, feed stations, medical support and a finisher's medal. The event finishes in Richmond upon Thames, close to Richmond railway station and bus routes. Starts are listed at Woolwich (55 km) and Upper Norwood (25 km). Participants must meet the event age limits: the 55 km entry is for people aged 21 or over and the 25 km entry is for people aged 18 or over.
Course and logistics
Both routes follow parts of London’s Capital Ring footpath and pass notable locations such as Eltham Palace, Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. The terrain includes footpaths, parks, woodland trails, canal paths and disused railway lines, with steps in places and sections that may be muddy depending on weather. Surface proportions are given: the 55 km route is about 73% paved and 27% unpaved; the 25 km route is about 74% paved and 26% unpaved. Feed stations: three on the 55 km route and one on the 25 km route, with locations including Vista Field Children’s Centre (Middle Park Ave, SE9), The Chevening Hub (Upper Norwood Recreation Ground, SE19) and Wimbledon Common (Windmill Car Park, SW19).
