Beyond London - trail and ultra in London
Beyond London is a trail and ultra running event in Greater London on 20 June 2026. It offers two fully waymarked and supported routes that follow parts of the Capital Ring footpath, revealing trails, parks, woodland, disused railway lines and canal paths across the city.

- 55 km Ultra following large sections of the Capital Ring
- 25 km Trail following part of the Capital Ring
Both routes finish in Richmond upon Thames, close to Richmond railway station and local bus routes. Start locations differ by distance: Woolwich for the ultra and Upper Norwood for the 25 km route. The 55 km route is mainly urban trail with notable sights such as Eltham Palace and Richmond Park; the 25 km route passes Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park.
Route surface and support details are provided: the 55 km route is about 73% paved and 27% unpaved, the 25 km route is about 74% paved and 26% unpaved. The event provides GPX route files, chip timing, feed stations (three on the 55 km route, one on the 25 km route), medical support and a finisher medal.
