Thames Moonlight 10
The Thames Moonlight 10 Walk is an evening walking event in Central London. It takes place on Friday, 11 September 2026. The event features two distance options: a 10 km looped route and a 10 mile looped route.
The event starts and finishes at The Oval in Kennington. The 10 mile route has start times from 16:30 to 17:30, while the 10 km route starts from 18:00 to 19:00. The route passes landmarks such as St Paul's, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, and the London Eye.
This is a walking-only event with a minimum age requirement of 12 years. The route is fully signed and has pick-up support available. Participants receive a souvenir neck buff and glow-stick. At the finish line, walkers get a medal, a glass of fizz, and hot food and drink. The event is part of a weekend festival of riverside events called the Thames Path Challenge.
Participants can choose from several registration and fundraising options. Self-funding options require a fee paid online with no fundraising commitment.
