The Thames Bridges Trek takes place in London on Sat 12 Sept 2026. The event offers two walking distances: 25 km and 10 km. The 25 km route runs east along the River Thames from Putney Bridge to Tower Bridge and crosses 16 bridges. The 10 km route starts at The Oval Cricket Ground and crosses Millennium Bridge, Southwark Bridge, London Bridge and Tower Bridge. Route, support and entry options
The 25 km course is described as flat, following the Thames, with a midway rest stop at The Oval Cricket Ground. Rest stops are provided roughly every 12.5 km and include snacks, hot drinks and water; a finishers picnic is served at the 25 km finish in Southwark Park. Covered rest stops, toilets, medics, podiatrists and massage teams are available along the route. The 25 km start location is Bishops Park, Fulham. Nearest public transport: Putney Bridge for the 25 km start; Oval or Vauxhall for the 10 km start; Bermondsey, Canada Water and Surrey Quays near the finish. Self-funded entry fees listed for 2026 are £89 for 25 km and £39 for 10 km; charity sponsorship and mixed funding options with lower registration fees and fundraising targets are also offered.
