Thames Bridges Trek
The Thames Bridges Trek is a supported walking event along the River Thames in London. The route follows the river on a generally flat course and travels east through the city, crossing 16 historic bridges between Putney Bridge and Tower Bridge. The event finishes in Southwark Park with a picnic and a finish-line celebration.

There are staffed rest stops and covered facilities approximately every 12.5 km, with a major mid-point stop at The Oval Cricket Ground offering pastries, fruit, snacks and hot drinks. Meal provision is arranged at 25 km intervals and a finishers picnic is provided. Rest stops include toilets, medical support, changing areas, baggage pick up and covered seating. Event medical teams include doctors, paramedics, first aiders, podiatrists and massage therapists, and a self help area is available at each stop.
The route is fully signed with pink arrows, distance markers and hazard signs, and the event uses GPS tracking and chip timing to monitor progress. The Thames Bridges Trek is a walking only event; running or jogging is not permitted. Public transport links serve the start and finish locations.
