Ulnooweg Summer Solstice Run

The Ulnooweg Summer Solstice Run is an annual event held in Millbrook, Nova Scotia, celebrating community and Indigenous culture on National Indigenous Peoples Day. The 2025 edition offers 2K, 5K, and 10K distances, with certified courses for the 5K and 10K as part of the Nova Scotia Road Race Series. The scenic routes start at Legends Gaming Centre and include paved and unpaved sections, such as a gravel road leading to a wind turbine.

Walkers are welcome in the 2K and 5K events. A virtual run option is available throughout June, Indigenous History Month. The event features a post-run breakfast social and encourages participation from all ages, with free entry for youth under 15 and elders over 65.
