Two Rivers Race Around the Lake 5K
The Two Rivers Race Around the Lake 5K is the fourth annual community running event held in Two Rivers at 1435 Two Rivers Blvd., Odenton, MD, on May 16, 2026. The course passes through the neighborhood and goes around Cat Tail Lake. Proceeds support the Two Rivers Tornados Swim Team. The Tornados went undefeated in the 2024 summer season and will compete in division 6 of the Central Maryland Swim League.
Race options include:
- 3.11 miles (5K) for ages 13 and over
- 3.11 miles (5K) for ages 12 and under
- 1 mile kids fun run for ages 10 and under
Entry fees are stated as $35 for runners 13 and over, $25 for runners 12 and under, and $15 for the kids loop. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, with age group awards for 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus.
