Turkey Trot - McAllen
The Turkey Trot takes place on Saturday, November 14th, 2026 at Town Lake at Firemen’s Park (201 N 1st St, McAllen, TX 78501). The event offers multiple race distances:
- 2K
- 5K
- 10K
Registration is online only and closes on Wednesday, November 4th, 2026 at 11:59pm or when the event reaches maximum capacity. Entry fees are listed as $25 for the 2K, $35 for the 5K, and $40 for the 10K. Participant items include a shirt, finisher medal, and runner bib.
Packet pick up details are to be determined. Packet pickup will not be available on race day. A participant may send a representative to collect a packet; the representative must show a copy of the participant’s valid driver’s license or photo ID that indicates date of birth.
Eligibility and awards are organized by event and age. The 2K is for ages 2–13; the 5K and 10K are open to ages 7 and up. Awards include overall male and female and age-group awards for both sexes, with placements for first through third in each listed age category. Runners will be recognized with award plaques. The organizer states that entry fees are not refundable if the event is canceled for reasons beyond the organizer’s control. Transfer requests are allowed up to 14 days prior to race day.
