Turkey Trot | McAllen
The Turkey Trot in McAllen is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Town Lake at Firemen’s Park, 201 N 1st St, McAllen, TX. The event offers three race distances with specific age eligibility:
- 2K for ages 2 to 13
- 5K for ages 7 and up
- 10K for ages 7 and up
Registration is online only and is listed as open; registration closes on November 4, 2026 or when the event reaches maximum capacity. Entry fees are listed as $25 for the 2K, $35 for the 5K, and $40 for the 10K. Registered participants receive a participant shirt, a finisher medal, and a runner bib. Packet pickup details are to be determined; packet pickup will not be available on race day. A representative may pick up a packet on behalf of a registrant if they present a copy of the registrant’s photo ID showing date of birth.
Awards are presented by gender and by multiple age divisions, including overall winners and age group places; runners will be recognized with award plaques. Transfer requests between participants or between events are permitted but must be submitted no later than 14 days prior to race day.
