Turkey Trot 5K : Belvidere North Music Boosters
The Belvidere North Music Boosters hold the inaugural Turkey Trot 5K on November 7, 2026 at the fairgrounds located at 1111 Fairgrounds Road, Blue Shelter, Belvidere, IL 61008. The event is organized to raise funds for music students at Belvidere North High School.
The event distance is 5K and the race will be officially timed for participants who wish to track their results. Race check-in will be available the morning of the event.
Registration opens August 3, 2026 and closes September 15, 2026. The registration fee is $30.00.
All funds raised from the event go directly to supporting Belvidere North High School music students. Uses listed by the organizers include instrument repair and replacement, equipment upgrades, music camps and leadership development, expanded music education programming, student scholarships, and efforts to retain and grow the music community.
