About the race
The Belvidere North Music Boosters present the inaugural Turkey Trot 5K on November 7, 2026, held at Blue Shelter, 1111 Fairgrounds Road, Belvidere, IL 61008. The event includes a 5K running race that will be officially timed for participants who want to track their results.
Race check-in is scheduled from 8:30 am to 9:30 am on November 7, 2026. Registration opens July 22, 2026 and closes September 15, 2026; the registration fee is $30.00.
All funds raised by the event are directed to support music students at Belvidere North High School. Proceeds are intended for instrument repair and replacement, equipment upgrades, music camps and leadership development opportunities, expanded music education programming, student scholarships, and efforts to retain and grow the school’s music community.
