Turkey Trot 5K - Sandy
The Turkey Trot 5K is scheduled for November 7, 2026 at Lone Peak Park, 10140 S. 700 E., in Sandy. Packet pickup is available the day before the race, November 6, during office hours at 440 E. 8680 S., Sandy. The registration fee includes a race t-shirt; sizes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and shirts are not guaranteed for late registrations.
Registration closes online on November 6, with day-of registration accepted at the race location up to one hour before the race begins. Standard fees are listed as $35 per individual and $30 per family or group participant, with late fees at $40 for individuals and $35 for group participants.
The event is open to all ages and allows walking, jogging, or running. Dogs are not allowed on the race course. Awards are presented to the first three male and female finishers in each age division. There is a prize drawing after the race for preregistered participants.
Discounts are offered for immediate family registrations when two or more people from the same household register in the same transaction. Group discounts are available for organizations or businesses with a minimum of five participants; these discounts require registering the group in a single transaction and organizations are asked to create an account representing their group.
