Turkey Trot 5K - Sandy
The Turkey Trot 5K is scheduled for Nov. 7, 2026, at Lone Peak Park, 10140 S. 700 E., Sandy. Packet pickup is available on Nov. 6 during office hours at 440 E. 8680 S., Sandy. The registration fee includes a race t-shirt; shirt sizes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last and are not guaranteed for late registrations.
The event welcomes participants of all ages and allows walking, jogging, running, or racing. Dogs are not allowed on the race course for the safety of others. Awards will be given to the first three male and first three female finishers in each age division. There will be a prize drawing after the race for participants who pre-registered.
Registration closes online on Nov. 6. Day-of registration is accepted at the event location up to one hour before the race begins. Standard registration fees are $35 per individual and $30 per participant for family or group registrations. Late registration fees are $40 for individuals and $35 for groups; online late registration is not available.
Family discounts apply to immediate family members when two or more people from the same household register. Group discounts are available for businesses or organizations with a minimum of five participants; to receive the group rate registrations must be completed together in the same online transaction and organizations should register using an account representing the organization.
Age divisions include 5 & under, 6-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, and 80 & up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
