Annual Turkey Triathlon - November 7, 2026
The 22nd Annual Turkey Triathlon and 5K Trot, organized by Weber State Campus Recreation, is a reverse sprint triathlon held on the Weber State campus in Ogden, Utah. The event includes a swim, bike, and run that circle the campus and offer views of the Wasatch Front. The start line and transition area are at Swenson Gym, Parking Lot A7. Participants must wear a helmet for the bike portion. The event may move indoors if there is inclement weather.
Distances included:
- 300 yd swim
- 10 km bike
- 5 km run
- 1 mile option
Packet pickup is available on Thursday, November 5 and Friday, November 6 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm at the Campus Recreation offices, with additional pickup on race day in the A7 transition area. Walk-up registration closes at 8:30 am or when capacity is reached; walk-up registrants are not guaranteed a shirt or medal. Bike racks are numbered by bib number and a bike drop-off area will be available at the A7 parking lot entrance. The run is one loop and the bike is two loops; participants must obey campus traffic lights and traffic laws. The swim uses one-way lanes with two loops before exiting at the stairs to the pool deck.
Awards, raffle, and family activities take place in Swenson Gym. The race includes a Weber Cares Pantry drive; donation items earn an extra raffle ticket.
