Turkey Tea 10K - Paradise Running Club
The Body Quest Turkey Tea 10k is an NLAA sanctioned road race organized by the Paradise Running Club in Mount Pearl. The main distance is 10 km on a measured course through streets of Mount Pearl.
The course starts at Donovan's Industrial Park at the corner of Glencoe and Kyle Avenue. A 5K water stop is located at the corner of Glencoe and Sagona Avenue. The finish is at Park Place Community Centre, 61 Park Ave. The event has a 90 minute course time limit and is chip-timed.
Port-a-potties are available in the start area. A post-race reception and awards ceremony take place at Park Place Community Centre next to the finish; age group certificates will be presented to the top three finishers per age group and may be issued digitally if needed. Refreshments and snacks are provided for finishers, and there will be prize draws.
Finisher medals will be ordered based on interest during the early bird registration, with a minimum order of 200 medals. There is no cap on registration, but registrants will be informed when medals are no longer guaranteed. An alternate award will be available if medals are exhausted, and any unclaimed medals will be distributed on a first come, first served basis after the awards ceremony.
Headphones and earbuds are not permitted during the race under NLAA policy; violators may be subject to disqualification. Information about available parking will be announced by the organizers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
