Tuppers Plains VFD Firefighter Challenge
Tuppers Plains Volunteer Fire Department presents the eighth annual 5K run/walk and firefighter challenge on October 3, 2026, in Tuppers Plains, Ohio. The course starts and finishes at the Tuppers Plains Fire Department.
The event combines a community 5K run and walk with a firefighter challenge. Firefighters may compete by walking the 5K in full turnout gear; junior firefighters who enter the challenge are not required to wear an SCBA pack. The format accommodates both standard run/walk participants and those taking part in the gear walk.
Results and awards are organized by age and race category. The first place male and first place female in each age and race category will be announced at the conclusion of the event.
