Tunnel to Towers 5K Run and Walk - Sandpoint, ID
The Tunnel to Towers Climb in Sandpoint is a 5K community event on July 4, 2026 that combines running, walking and a climb option to honor first responders and remember September 11, 2001. The event location is Sandpoint High School, 410 S Division Ave, Sandpoint, Idaho.
Multiple registration categories are offered for adults, first responders and military, youth and children, plus a virtual option for employees. Listed registration fees include $30 for the adult Run and Climb option, $25 for adult Run only or Climb only, $20 for first responders and military, $10 for youth 13 to 17, and $5 for children 12 and under. Day of registration is available, though late registrants may not receive a shirt or preferred sizes.
Packet pickup is available Friday, July 3 between 5:00 pm and 7:30 pm at Evans Brothers Coffee House, 524 Church St, and on the day of the event at the high school. Ample parking is provided at Sandpoint High School and shuttle buses will transport participants to the start area. Participants must display their bib on the front of the outermost garment. Water will be available on course and an Emergency Medical Service team and radio communication will be on site. Strollers, wheelchairs, firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are permitted. Registration fees do not count toward fundraising totals, donations are accepted after the event, and registrations may be transferred but are not refundable.
