Tulip Trot 5k
The Tulip Trot 5k takes place on May 2, 2026 in Mecklenburg, New York. The event is based at the Mecklenburg Fire Hall, 4495 Co Rte 6, Mecklenburg NY 14863. It is the community parks' third annual 5k event.
The program includes a free kids' fun run called the Dino Dash open to ages 8 and under and a main 5k run/walk. The course is the same as the last two years and includes one steep incline. Parks supporters will be stationed along the route to cheer on participants and help keep runners on course.
Entry fee for the main event is listed as $25 per participant and the Dino Dash is free. Group discounts apply: registrations of 4 to 7 people reduce the fee by $2.50 per person, and groups of 8 or more reduce the fee by $5 per person.
