Tukee Trot 5K
The Tukee Trot 5K Run and Walk is held on November 27, 2026, in Ahwatukee at Pecos Park in Phoenix, AZ. This is the sixth annual community volunteer event, with additional proceeds and sponsor donations directed to local charities.
Distances
- 5K Tukee Trot Run/Walk - 3.1 miles (USATF certified, chip timed)
- Kids Quail Fun Run - 1 mile, free with registration, includes finisher award
The 5K course at Pecos Park is described as scenic and fast and is officially certified at 3.1 miles. Race timing is provided by Race Timers with chip timing and real-time results. The venue is located at the end of 48th Street along the Wild Horse Pass reservation, south of Chandler Boulevard, and includes parking, start and finish zones, race-day packet pickup, and post-race refreshments.
All 5K participants receive a custom Tukee Trot T-shirt unless they choose the no-shirt option for a $5 discount. The kids run does not include a shirt. Post-race provisions include a brunch with bagels, fruit, water, and Gatorade, and there are water/Gatorade station supports on the course.
Awards are given to the top three overall and to top finishers in each age group. Age groups are: 12 & Under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Older.
Packet pickup is offered on a pre-race day and on race day at the Pecos Park pavilion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
