Tucson Unified School District Second Annual 5K and One-Mile Fun Run and Walk
The Tucson Unified School District is holding its Second Annual community 5K and One Mile Fun Run and Walk at Reid Park in Tucson, AZ. The event includes a health fair with wellness resources and on-site flu shots, a Kids Dash, a costume contest with prizes for Best Dressed, and a raffle where winners must be present.
Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- One Mile Walk (1 Mile)
Medals will be awarded to 5K participants for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place female and male in age categories including 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Only 5K participants will be timed; One Mile Walk participants will not be timed. Service animals only are permitted on site.
Registration fee for the 5K and the One Mile Walk is $10.00. Participants who register by September 17 will receive an event T-shirt. A volunteer program is organized separately, with a virtual volunteer meeting beforehand; volunteers earn WellStyles points and receive a volunteer T-shirt.
