About the race
Tucson Unified School District is hosting the Second Annual 5K Fun Run and Walk on October 3, 2026, at Reid Park, 900 S. Randolph Way, Tucson, AZ 85716.
The event comprises two distance options:
- 3.1 Miles - TUSD 5k
- 1 Miles - TUSD One-Mile Walk
Registration for the events opens July 1, 2026 and closes October 3, 2026. The registration fee is $10.00 for each event. Participants who register by September 17 will receive a t-shirt.
The event program includes a health fair, check-in, a kids dash, a group stretch, and an awards ceremony. Awards are presented to the first, second, and third place male and female finishers within the following age groups: 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Volunteers are requested and a Volunteer tab lists available tasks. Service animals only are permitted on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
