Registration and Participation
Registration is available for an in-person 5K run/walk and a virtual run option. The virtual race can be completed anywhere, at any pace, between May 2nd and May 3rd, 2026. Virtual participants must have a US mailing address, or contact the organizer for international options. Mail-in registration is also available using a provided form.
All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom Dri-Fit shirt. Please note that race items (shirts, medals) will not be mailed to participants who register but do not attend the in-person event. There are no refunds or transfers due to weather.
Race Day Details
The event is leashed-pet friendly and welcomes wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons. However, roller blades, skates, bicycles, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on the course. A pre- and post-race "runner's snack" is provided, including items like granola bars, fruit, water, and Gatorade.
Awards
Age group awards are presented to the top three finishers in each division for race day participants only. Age groups range from 8 & Under to 80 & Over.
Timing and Results
The event is chip-timed, with real-time results and photos available on the organizer's website or mobile app.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available on Saturday, May 2nd, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Road Runner Sports in Tucson. Packet pickup also opens on race day at 6:30 AM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
