Event overview
The Tucson May the Fourth Be With You 5K is a themed 5K run/walk taking place on May 3, 2026 at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park, East River Road, Tucson, AZ. The event is organized by StartLine Racing and includes both an in-person 5K Run/Walk and a Virtual Run option. The event features costume awards and age-group awards for the top three male and female finishers in each age group for race day participants.
Registration and logistics
Registration is tiered by date; day-of registration is accepted if space remains and the race day fee for the 5K is listed as $50. Mail-in registrations are accepted until April 27, 2026. Virtual participants receive a custom finisher medal and a custom event shirt, with items mailed after May 3, 2026; virtual registrations are restricted to U.S. addresses. Participants may choose a no-shirt option for a $5 reduction.
Packet pick-up is available Saturday, May 2 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Road Runner Sports (7113 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85704); packets may also be picked up on race day if available. The event is rain or shine; there are no refunds or transfers for weather. The course map is provided and may be changed if deemed unsafe. The event is pet friendly with leashes allowed, and wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are permitted. Roller blades, roller skates, bicycles, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on the course. Chip timing and real-time results with photos are provided.
