Tuckahoe Challenge 5K & 1 Mile - 2026
The Tuckahoe Challenge is the 50th annual running event held on October 4, 2026 at the Tuckahoe Community Center, 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe, NY. The event offers three participation options: running the 5K, the 1 Mile, or both as the Tuckahoe Challenge. Proceeds from the race benefit the Eastchester Community Action Program (ECAP).
Registration details include a guarantee for shirt size when registering by August 30; shirts are described as premium athletic wicking. Base registration options listed on the organizer page show prices for the 5K, 1 Mile, and the combined Challenge, with a reduced fee for participants 14 and under and those 65 and older. Personalized bibs are available for registrants who sign up three weeks before race day.
Race amenities and services include live/text/email results, free finish line photos, and same-day finish line video. Awards are given for combined Challenge times, 5K and 1 Mile age groups, the fastest Tuckahoe resident in the 5K, and other special categories such as an adult-child team award and a community team award. Early bib pickup is offered the day before the event at the community center and race-day pickup is available on site.
