Tuckahoe Challenge 5K and 1 Mile
The event takes place on October 4, 2026 at the Tuckahoe Community Center, 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe, NY. It features a one mile race and a 5K, and participants may complete both events to record a combined Tuckahoe Challenge time. Runners and walkers are welcome.

Registration details note a reduced fee for ages 14 and under and ages 65 and older, and a shirt size guarantee for those who register by August 30. Personalized bibs are available for entrants who register three weeks before the event. Bib pickup is offered the day before and on race day.
Event services include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, same-day finish line video, and race-day score posting. Baby joggers are allowed but must start at the back of the runners and before the walkers; dogs are not permitted in the race. Team participation is optional with a Race Director award for the most enthusiastic community team.
Awards recognize combined Challenge results, overall top finishers, age group top finishers in both distances, the fastest local resident in the 5K, and a first place adult-child team in the one mile.
