Tuckahoe Challenge 5K and 1 Mile : October 4, 2026
The Tuckahoe Challenge returns for its 50th annual running event at the Tuckahoe Community Center, 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe, NY 10707. The event offers multiple distances and an option to complete both races as the Tuckahoe Challenge.

Registration information notes a guaranteed shirt size for entries completed by August 30; shirts are described as premium athletic wicking. Fees vary by event and age, with a discounted rate for participants 14 and under and 65 and older. Personalized bibs are available for those who register three weeks in advance. Live, text, and email results are provided, and finish line photos are free.
Awards include top overall combined times for the Challenge plus age group awards for the 5K and the 1 Mile. A first place adult child team prize is offered in the 1 Mile. Additional recognitions include the fastest local resident and a Race Director’s Award for community teams. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Eastchester Community Action Program.
Participants may use a baby jogger but must start at the back of the pack before walkers. Dogs are not allowed to run but may attend as leashed spectators. Bib pickup is available prior to the event and on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
