Tuckahoe Challenge 5K & 1 Mile
The Tuckahoe Challenge takes place on October 4, 2026 at the Tuckahoe Community Center, 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe, NY 10707. The event is the 50th annual running of the race and is held rain or shine. Runners and walkers are welcome.

Participants may enter both events; completing both is called the Tuckahoe Challenge. Registration includes options for individual races and a combined entry. Early and race-day pricing tiers are listed by the organizer; youth (14 and under) and seniors (65 and older) have a reduced fee of $20. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Event amenities include live/text/email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for those registered at least three weeks before race day. Early bib pickup is available on October 3 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at the Tuckahoe Community Center; race-day pickup is also provided. Baby joggers are permitted but must start in the back of the runners and before walkers; dogs are not allowed in the race course.
Awards include top combined times for the Challenge, age-group awards for the 5K and 1 Mile, a first-place adult-child team in the 1 Mile, fastest Tuckahoe resident awards, and a community team award.
