Tuam Stars Hyrox: September 19 2026
Tuam Stars Hyrox is a timed fitness event held at the Tuam Stars Clubhouse and GAA grounds on September 19 2026. The event combines running with functional workout stations and is organised as a fundraiser to support Tuam Stars Football and Camogie Club infrastructure.
The Hyrox format alternates a 1 km run with a single workout station and repeats this sequence eight times. Participants may substitute any 1 km run with a 2 km bike option.
Event categories include singles, doubles, mixed doubles and a relay option. The competition will be timed and judged and will start in waves. Relay teams consist of four members and may be all male, all female, or mixed with two male and two female members. Each relay member completes two legs; each leg comprises either a 1 km run or a 2 km bike followed by one workout station.
The fundraiser takes place outdoors around the perimeter of the pitches with workout stations located on the Astro Turf. Spectators can follow the course and watch participants at multiple points around the grounds.
