Event overview
The Tropical Christmas Wine Run is a 5k held on December 20, 2025 at Tropical Winery, 2678 US 27 S, Lake Placid, FL 33852. The race is chip timed and scored by J3 Timing, with official results posted online. A virtual participation option is offered; virtual entrants can either pick up a race packet at the event or request packet shipping for an additional fee. Free race photos are available for download after the event. The official course map will be posted before the race.
Registration, swag and awards
Registration is open to ages 1 through 99. Included with registration are a short sleeve t-shirt (upgrade to long sleeve available for a fee), a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a wine-glass-shaped finisher medal, and a chip-timed race bib. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes shirt, medal and bib; minors do not receive the wine glass or a pour of wine. The event offers age group awards for top finishers in ten-year categories up to 80 and over; awards are issued on race day only and must be picked up at the event. The event lists Nik’s Wish as the charity partner and also offers a volunteer entry option. Packet pickup is available on race morning only.
