Event
The Tropical Christmas Wine Run 5k takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Tropical Winery in Lake Placid, Florida (2678 US 27 S, Lake Placid, FL 33852). The event includes a chip-timed 5k run/walk that is timed and scored by J3 Timing. The official course map will be posted before the race.
Registration and race features
Registration includes a short-sleeve T-shirt (with an option to upgrade to a long sleeve for an extra fee), a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a wine glass–shaped finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, and posted results. The event offers a pour of wine at the finish for eligible participants; minors will not receive a wine glass or pour. Packet pickup is available on race morning only.
Awards, charity and other options
Age group awards are offered; top finishers in each age category receive custom awards, and pins or medals must be picked up on race day. The stated charity partner for the event is Nik’s Wish. A virtual participation option is available; virtual entrants can either pick up a packet on race morning and run independently or request that a packet be shipped for an additional handling charge.
