Freedom Run Presented by UnityPoint Health takes place on August 13, 2026 in East Moline at 733 15th Avenue, IL 61244. The event presents several timed and non-timed running options and military themed elements throughout the course and race day.

- Tyson Double Time Loop (5.8 miles)
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
The 5K route runs through the St Anne Church, Hillcrest School, Mitchell Park neighborhoods, passes Ridgewood School, and returns downtown. The course includes one hill with two gradual inclines and a long downhill before the finish. The Tyson Double Time Loop follows the same route as the 5K with two loops for a total of 5.8 miles; participants in this event must reach the 3-mile marker by no later than 33 minutes or be diverted to finish the 5K course. The 1 Mile is an out-and-back course on 15th Avenue described as very flat.
Event elements emphasize a military theme, including an authentic Civil War cannon start, dog-tag medals placed at the finish, a WWII Army jeep used as a pace vehicle, military vehicles along the course, and more than 100 American flags lining the route. There is also a kid-oriented Ground Pounder Fun Run with obstacle elements; that event is not timed.
T-shirt and size are guaranteed only for registrations completed by July 15. All registrations are final; no refunds or transfers are allowed. Proceeds have benefited Trinity Veteran's Outreach Program, AUSA, and USO Rock Island. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
