The Trinity Fort to Forge event offers two distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The courses are open to running and walking, and the event is open to all ages.
Course
The 10 km start is at Fort Point Lighthouse. The 5 km start is in Dunfield, a scenic coastal area. Both courses follow the coastline and finish in the heart of Trinity, one of Newfoundland's oldest towns. The route features long uphill sections and downhill stretches.
Registration Fees and Inclusions
Early Bird pricing is available until April 15, 2026. The registration fee includes:
- An ice cream sandwich shaped finisher's medal.
- A t-shirt (guaranteed for registrations before September 1).
- Transportation to the starting line.
- Water and bananas at the 5 km water station and at the finish.
- A chance to win draw prizes.
Fundraising
The event raises funds for the Trinity and Area Volunteer Fire Department and the Fort Point Lions Club. Registration fees cover operational costs, allowing additional donations to go directly to these local organizations. In 2025, over $20,000 was raised.
