Trinity Fort to Forge 5k/10k Run/Walk, Trinity NL : September 26, 2026
The event offers 10 km and 5 km route options along the Trinity coastline. The 10 km starts at Fort Point Lighthouse, the 5 km starts in Dunfield, and both finish in the centre of Trinity. The course is described as moderately challenging, with a few long uphills and rewarding downhills.
Fort to Forge is open to all ages. Registration fees include an ice cream sandwich finisher's medal provided by Sweet Rock Ice Cream, a t shirt guaranteed for registrations completed by midnight September 1, transportation to the starting line, water and bananas at the 5 km water station and at the finish, and eligibility for draw prizes. Registration fees cover event operating costs; processing fees apply and no refunds are issued for cancellations or no shows.
Proceeds and donations support local volunteer organizations, including the Trinity and Area Volunteer Fire Department and the Fort Point Lions Club. The event listed Sweet Rock Ice Cream and the Town of Trinity as sponsors and raised more than $20,000 for those organizations in the previous year.
