Trinity Fort to Forge 5k/10k Run/Walk : Trinity (26 September 2026)
Fort to Forge offers 5 km and 10 km run/walk options on 26 September 2026 in Trinity, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The 10k starts at Fort Point Lighthouse and the 5k starts in Dunfield; both routes follow the coastline and finish in the centre of Trinity. The course is described as moderately challenging, with a few long uphills and notable downhills.
The event includes youth options and is open to all ages. Registration fees cover event operating costs; fundraising and donations support the Trinity & Area Volunteer Fire Department and the Fort Point Lions Club. The fundraising goal is $20,000; last year the event raised more than $20,000.
A special "Give to Get a Gaiter" offer provides a custom neck gaiter to participants who donate or raise $25 or more; gaiters are distributed with race bibs and charitable tax receipts are issued automatically for online donations. Registration includes an ice cream sandwich finisher's medal provided by Sweet Rock Ice Cream, a t-shirt guaranteed for registrations by midnight September 1, transportation to the starting line, and water and bananas at the 5k water station and the finish.
