About the race
The Trinity Fort to Forge Run/Walk is a community running event held in Trinity, Newfoundland and Labrador on September 26, 2026. The event offers route options that follow the coastline and finish in the town of Trinity. The course is described as moderately challenging with a few long uphills and corresponding downhills. The 10 km start is at Fort Point Lighthouse and the 5 km start is in Dunfield.

Registration fees are listed by age category, with adults and youth pricing. Registration includes an ice cream sandwich finisher's medal provided by the Platinum sponsor Sweet Rock Ice Cream, a t-shirt (guaranteed if registered by midnight September 1), transportation to the starting line, water and bananas at a 5 km water station and at the finish, and entry into prize draws. Processing fees apply and there are no refunds for cancellations or no-shows.
The event incorporates fundraising for local volunteer organizations. Donations or fundraising of at least $25 qualify for a custom Fort to Forge neck gaiter. The event aims to raise funds for the Trinity and Area Volunteer Fire Department and the Fort Point Lions Club; charitable tax receipts are issued automatically for online donations.
