Bavisela Family Run
The Bavisela Family Run is a non-competitive 7 km event held in Trieste on 2 May 2027 as part of the Trieste Spring Run programme. The route runs from the bivio di Miramare to Piazza Unità d’Italia and follows sections close to the sea and through the city.
The event is open to children, adults, families, groups and people with disabilities. The organisation states an online registration process and a participation fee of €18.00, with a reduced rate of €14.50 per person for groups of more than 20. Children born in 2022 and later, and people with disabilities, can take part free of charge. Group and special registrations are managed by the event secretariat.
Participants receive a kit that includes a technical shirt, a commemorative medal, a race pack with products and vouchers, and a bib. Medical assistance, insurance, refreshment stations on the route and a final refreshment are provided.
The Bavisela has a history of more than 30 years in Trieste. The event also supports charitable activity: the Fondazione Burlo Garofolo is the official charity partner and a fundraising initiative linked to the Trieste Spring Run aims to collect €42,195.
