Triathlon ÉPIQ 2026
Triathlon ÉPIQ is an extreme gravel triathlon combining open water swimming, gravel cycling and running with significant elevation gain. The swim takes place in Lac Memphrémagog, the bike follows gravel roads in the Canton de Potton, and the run is partly on the same gravel roads and partly on trails, including the ascent and descent of Mont Owl's Head. The event is organized in semi autonomy and holds an ÉcoTQ Argent eco certification.
The event on 26 September 2026 includes multiple race formats for individuals and teams and a standalone vertical ascent challenge called Montée ÉPIQ. Age category is determined by the athlete's age on 31 December 2026. All participants commit to a reasonable fundraising requirement and the event surplus will be donated to the Centre d'action bénévole de la Missisquoi Nord. The Montée ÉPIQ features a nine hour ascent challenge on a secured course at Mont Owl's Head and is associated with fundraising for the Fondation de l'Institut de cardiologie de Montréal.
Registration requires a client account and online reservations close on 13 September 2026.
