Triathlon ÉPIQ 2026 : event description
Triathlon ÉPIQ is presented as an extreme triathlon combining open water swimming, gravel cycling and running on roads and trails. Swimming takes place in Lake Memphremagog, the bike routes use gravel roads in the Canton of Potton and the run includes the ascent and descent of Mont Owl's Head. The event is organized in semi autonomy and holds an ÉcoTQ Silver certification.
The event offers multiple formats on 26 September 2026 at 40 Chem. du Mont Owls Head, Mansonville, QC J0E 1X0:
- Triathlon ÉPIQ individual or team : 1.9 km / 85 km / 22.1 km
- Triathlon ÉPIQ Oly+ individual or team : 1.5 km / 42 km / 10 km
- Triathlon ÉPIQ Sprint+ individual or team : 750 m / 25 km / 5.5 km
- Duathlon ÉPIQ individual : 3.5 km / 86 km / 22.1 km
- Duathlon ÉPIQ Sprint+ individual : 2.5 km / 26 km / 5.5 km
Age category is determined by the athlete's age on 31 December 2026. Displayed prices apply to Triathlon Québec members and include MS-1 service fees; non member fees and taxes may apply. The online reservation deadline is 13 September 2026 at midnight. All participants commit to a fundraising requirement and event surplus will be donated to the Centre d'action bénévole de la Missisquoi Nord.
