X Contracting hosts the Trenches & Tacos 5K at Papago Park in Phoenix, Arizona. X Contracting is a civil contractor that specializes in underground utility work. The event pairs a timed 5K run with local food and community support.
Registration includes timed 5K entry, an event T-shirt, a finisher medal, and three tacos from Carniceria Sonora. Packet pick up is available on race day and will also be available the day before. Entry fees follow a tiered schedule: Early Bird $25 through August 3, Standard $30 from August 4 to September 15, and Late $35 from September 16 to October 16.
Proceeds benefit the Arizona Center for Youth Resources. ACYR provides education support, job training, and direct workforce placement to help Phoenix youth graduate, earn certifications, and find employment in Arizona’s skilled workforce.
