Trenches & Tacos 5km Presented by X Contracting
Trenches & Tacos is a community 5-kilometre run presented by X Contracting and held at Papago Park in Phoenix, Arizona. X Contracting is a civil contractor that works in underground utilities; the event brings together fitness and community support in a short, timed road or park course format.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Arizona Center for Youth Resources (ACYR). ACYR provides education support, job training, and direct workforce placement to help Phoenix youth graduate, gain certifications, and secure employment in Arizona’s skilled workforce.
Registration includes a timed 5K entry, an event T-shirt, a finisher medal, and three tacos from Carniceria Sonora, a business with roots in Sonora, Mexico. Packet pick up will be available on race day and also the day before. Pricing is tiered: early bird, standard, and late registration windows, and overall registration is limited to 300 spots with a closing date on October 16 or earlier if capacity is reached.
