Course
The distance is 13.1 miles on 100% paved trail, with a total elevation gain of +506 ft. The route follows the Murdock Canal Trail and then transitions to the Utah Rail Trail. The course begins in Mitchell Hollow Park, passes a large pedestrian bridge over the Timpanogos Highway, and has a turnaround at Shadow Ridge Park. The course offers views of Lone Peak, Box Elder, and Mount Timpanogos. Aid stations are spaced roughly every 2 to 2.55 miles; several stations include restrooms. There is no cutoff time for finishing.

Aid stations supply Tailwind, water, Honey Stinger gels and waffles, fruit, and other snacks. Runners receive a race shirt and a locally made finisher medal; age-group medals are awarded. Overall top finishers receive locally made plaques and first-place gift cards from a local running store. Post-race breakfast is provided by Great Harvest Bread, and free race photos are taken and hosted online with bib recognition and no watermark.
