Traprain Law Hill Race
The Traprain Law Hill Race, organized by the Carnethy Hill Running Club, is a popular running event that features a challenging 6.5-mile course with a total climb of 710 feet. The race takes participants along scenic footpaths and through the River Tyne, culminating in a steep ascent of Traprain Law. Established in the 1970s, the event has become a staple of the East Linton Village Gala.
Runners are encouraged to wear studded shoes due to the terrain, and prizes are awarded in various categories. The next race is scheduled for June 14, 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
