Traprain Law Hill Race

Website

The Traprain Law Hill Race, organized by Carnethy Hill Running Club, is a 10.3 km (6.5 miles) multi-terrain event held in East Linton, Scotland, as part of the East Linton Gala. The course features paths, farm tracks, grass, and a river crossing over the River Tyne, followed by a steep rock scramble ascent of Traprain Law and a fast grassy descent. The route includes a final climb through Pencraig Woods before a long descent back to the finish at East Linton Memorial Park.

Trail or studded running shoes are recommended due to the varied terrain. The race promotes the spirit of Scottish hill running and offers various age and team prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
