Trails & Tarmac Backyard Ultra

Trails & Tarmac 12hr Backyard Ultra, organized by Limitless Trails, takes place near Crickhowell in the Black Mountains. The race uses a 4.2-mile loop and features 12 laps within a 12-hour cap. The first eleven loops are completed within an hour; the twelfth yard becomes a final sprint to determine the winner.

The course is a 50/50 mix of Trail and Tarmac, with a single gradual climb and a short steep section, designed for fast pacing. Competitors are supported with on-site food and drink, medics, showers and toilets. Trophies go to the top three finishers, and all finishers receive medals (ULTRA for 32 miles).
