Trail Run Australia Tathra is a coastal running event located on Australia’s Sapphire Coast in New South Wales. The event base is situated at 6 Andy Poole Drive in Tathra. The course traverses a variety of natural environments, including wild coastlines, wilderness areas, hidden lagoons, and beaches. Participants run through ancient landscapes characterized by rugged cliffs and diverse natural habitats.
The event offers several distance options to accommodate different experience levels:
- 28 km
- 16 km
- 8 km
- 3 km (also referred to as 3.5 km)
The 28 km course serves as the main distance for the festival. It follows a point to point route starting in the town of Merimbula and concluding at the historic Tathra Wharf. This trail winds through coastal vistas and pristine natural tracks. The shorter distances of 16 km, 8 km, and 3 km also utilize the local trail network, providing views of the ocean and the surrounding wilderness.
