Trail Run Australia Tathra
Trail Run Australia Tathra is a multi-distance trail running event on the Sapphire Coast, scheduled for 13 March 2027 and staged from Tathra Race HQ at the Tathra Surf Life Saving Club. The weekend forms part of the Tathra MultiSport Festival and runs through coastal wilderness, national park edges and seaside towns.
The flagship TRA30 is a roughly 30 kilometre coastal course that links Merimbula and Tathra. The TRA30 route includes coastal forest singletrack, sandy beach sections, and clifftop trails with varied elevation (approximately +528 m gain). Runners pass the historic Tathra Wharf before a short run to the Tathra Beach foreshore at the finish.
Other race distances follow coastal and bushland trails and finish at Race HQ. The event operates as a cupless race; athletes must carry their own cup, bottle or hydration system. Aid stations on course provide water and sports nutrition. Compulsory equipment checks are required before racing and random checks may occur on course. Bus transfers from Race HQ to start locations are available for some distances. The event provides live electronic timing, finishers tokens and stocked aid stations.
