Trail of Hope 5K Challenge

The Awareness Warriors Foundation organizes the 2nd Annual Trail of Hope 5K Challenge at Father Charles M. McNaboe Park in Laredo, TX. The event is held during Suicide Prevention Month to raise awareness, honor 17 veterans lost to suicide, and support people facing mental health challenges and isolation.

The main event is a team based 5K featuring obstacles and mission stations. Participants are released in heats and teams are formed on a first come, first served basis. Registration options include individual Warriors, paired Battle Buddies, and the Guardian of Hope 1K walk. The 5K is open to participants aged 10 and older; ages 10 to 12 must be accompanied by a participating parent or legal guardian. All participants under 18 must have a signed parent or guardian waiver and permission form.

The event includes a Community Resource and Wellness Village with mental health and veteran support organizations, a Fitness and Activity Zone with guided activities, a vehicle showcase, and food vendors. Registration fees are non refundable unless the organizer cancels the event. Free parking is available at the park.
