The route uses the paved section of the Ernst Trail, with a short portion on Mercer Pike Road. The trail follows an old rail line through the French Creek valley, passing through environments like meadows, marshes, hardwood stands, and hemlock thickets. The course is described as flat and fast.

The event takes place at Ernst Conservation Seed on 8884 Mercer Pike. Parking is available on-site. Restrooms (porta johns) are located at the start/finish area. Water is provided on the course, with water and snacks available at the finish.
Unisex event t-shirts are guaranteed for participants who pre-register before a specified date in late June 2026; after that date, shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. An awards ceremony is held immediately after the race.
Awards
