Towpath Twilight
Towpath Twilight is an annual evening running event on the Towpath Trail in Cleveland held on Friday, June 12, 2026. The event is the second leg of the Towpath Trilogy Race Series and begins at Sokolowski's Overlook. Courses travel past Camp Cleveland and the Towpath Mounds and offer sweeping views of the Cuyahoga River Valley as the sun sets.
The event includes multiple distance options:
- 10 mile race
- 10K race
- 5K race
Participation benefits Canalway, a non-profit cultural heritage organization. Funds raised support programming for the Towpath Trail, the development of Canal Basin Park, and a variety of projects within the Ohio and Erie Canalway National Heritage Area that serve the local community.
