Towpath Trail 10K and Half Marathon

Both races start at Providence Metropark near the dam and shelter on S. River Road in Grand Rapids, Ohio. Courses follow the historic Towpath Trail toward Waterville on crushed gravel and dirt with shaded sections and views of the Maumee River, canal locks, and a grain mill.
The 10K proceeds 3.1 miles to a turn around point and returns to the Dam Shelter at Providence Park. The half marathon proceeds approximately 6.55 miles to a turn around point just past Bend View Park and returns to the Dam Shelter.
Registration opened January 11 and closed June 1 for the 2026 event. Registration included a T shirt and finisher medal; a no shirt option directs more of the fee to charity. Entry fees listed were $36 for the 10K and $40 for the half marathon. The event field is capped at 175 participants; the 2026 event sold out on 4/22/2026.
Mercy Health – Toledo will provide onsite medical support. Gift certificates are awarded to male and female overall winners and to masters (age 40 to 49) and grand masters (age 50 and above) in both races.
