Event Overview
The Carthage Water & Electric Plant (CWEP) hosts the annual Tower 2 Tower Run in Carthage, Missouri. This athletic event is organized to coincide with Drinking Water Week. The purpose of the run is to raise awareness within the local community regarding the benefits of tap water and the importance of a reliable water supply for communal success.
Participants can choose from multiple event categories:
- Tower 2 Tower 5k
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Both the 5k and the 1 Mile distances feature specific registration categories for participants aged 18 and under, as well as categories for participants aged 19 to 120. All financial proceeds from the event are donated to the CWEP Customer Assistance Program, which provides support within the Carthage community.
