Overview

The Tower 2 Tower Run is an annual event hosted by the Carthage Water & Electric Plant (CWEP). It takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 826 George E Phelps Blvd in Carthage, Missouri.

Event Distances

Participants can choose from two main events:

Tower 2 Tower 5k
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Each event has a specific category for participants aged 18 and under, as well as a standard category for ages 19 and up. All events start at 8:00 AM CDT.

Registration Fees

Standard registration fees apply until April 15, 2026, after which prices increase. The fees for the adult categories are $30 for the 5k and $25 for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. For participants aged 18 and under, the fees are $20 for the 5k and $15 for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.

Event Purpose

The event is held during Drinking Water Week (May 3rd-9th) to raise awareness in the Carthage community about the benefits of tap water and the importance of a safe, reliable water supply.
