TOUGHMAN Westchester Triathlon Weekend : Rye Playland, September 18–19, 2027
This is a two-day multisport event at Rye Playland, 1 playland Pkwy, Rye, NY 10580, held September 18 and 19, 2027. The weekend includes multiple race formats for adults and youth, ranging from an Olympic-distance triathlon to a one mile open water swim and several age-group triathlons for children.
Race formats and primary distances:
- Olympic Triathlon: Swim 1.5 km, Bike 40 km, Run 10 km
- Olympic Aquabike: Swim 1.5 km, Bike 40 km
- Duathlon: Bike 23m, Run 6.2m
- Open water swim: 1 mile
- Youth triathlons: short swim, short bike loops, and short runs by age group
Participants must be at least 15 years old to enter any TOUGHMAN race or to be part of a relay team; race age is determined by age on 12/31 of the current year. Time cut offs apply for safety: Swim 1 hour 10 minutes; Swim/Bike 3 hours 10 minutes; Swim/Bike/Run 4 hours 30 minutes. There is a 10 minute T1 restriction for the last wave entering the water.
Merchandise and awards: a shirt and medal are guaranteed for the first 500 total participants in most events; youth events guarantee shirts and medals for the first 175 youth participants.
