Totten Trot 5K Run/Walk 2026
The Totten Trot marks its 25th annual 5K foot race and kids fun run on October 25, 2026 at the Bayside Historical Society in Fort Totten, Bayside, NY. The event benefits the Bayside Historical Society and supports its programs, archival collections, and the preservation of the landmarked Fort Totten Officers’ Club.
The course is USATF certified and runs along the waterfront in Fort Totten Park on Little Neck Bay. The route passes through the Historic District with late 1800s buildings and includes a loop onto Little Bay Path near the Throgs Neck Bridge. The start and finish are located at the landmarked Officers’ Club.
Registration includes a commemorative silver anniversary T-shirt for entrants who register three weeks before race day; the shirt design was created by a Bayside High School student. Bib pickup is handled by event staff, with options for personalized bibs when registering early. Registration fees are non refundable and non transferable and are used to cover race expenses.
Prizes include cash awards for the top three overall male and female finishers and age group awards, plus a best costume prize. Amenities listed include a reception and awards at the historic Castle, raffle prizes, and a kids fun run with cookie medals.
