Totem to Totem Haida Marathon, half and 10k
Totem to Totem takes place at the Haida Heritage Centre, 2 Beach Road, Skidegate, British Columbia, on July 18, 2026. It is the annual Run Haida Gwaii event held within the Skidegate Days Celebrations and is part of the Haida community series.
The running events are simple out and back courses along shore roads to marked turnaround points. The start and finish are at the Totem Poles of the Haida Heritage Centre. The course is described as reasonably flat and passes coastal scenery with views of the ocean and local birds such as eagles and ravens.
The Skidegate Council plans to raise three new Totem Poles in the village during the week and on the day of the event after the last runner finishes.

- Marathon: Out and back from the Haida Heritage Centre to Saint Mary's Spring.
- Half marathon: Out and back from the Haida Heritage Centre to Miller Creek Road.
- 10 km: Out and back from the Haida Heritage Centre to just beyond the Balance Rock parking marked turnaround point.
