Tory Hill

The Tory Hill event takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in County Kilkenny. It features a mountain run of 7.80 km with a total climb of 350 meters.

Route and Terrain

The course includes a mix of woods, runnable trail, and fire road. It features a 200-meter ascent within the first 2.4 km and includes two visits to the summit cross.

A shorter junior course of approximately 5.00 km is also available. For this shorter route, runners under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a guardian or parent on the race route.

Mandatory Kit

All runners must bring a showerproof, windproof jacket. The decision on whether this kit must be carried during the race will be finalized on event day, based on conditions, and announced at registration. Runners should have a means to carry all required kit.

Logistics and Registration

Registration opens at 9:45 AM and closes at 10:45 AM. The race start time is 11:00 AM. Online entry opens on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 21:00 and closes on Friday, May 8 at 18:00. Entry costs €7 for seniors, and €5 for those over 65 and under 18. The entry limit is 250 participants.
