About the race
The Toronto Peace Marathon is presented by KCCA and takes place at Wilket Creek Park in North York, ON. Now in its 21st year, the event brings together runners, walkers, veterans, families, and community members to remember those who served and to mark a tradition of remembrance and unity.
The event offers the following distances:
- 10K Run
- 5K Walk
A public gathering featuring veterans and special guests is part of the event program; these speakers share personal memories and stories connected to the fight for peace. Prizes and awards are listed for multiple categories, including overall podium cash prizes (valued at CA$500), female and male winners, an average winning team prize for groups of 10 or more, age-category awards (Under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+), and a Best Outfit Award, among other cash prizes.
Registration fees shown include mandatory charges. Example fees published for this edition are CA$66.98 for the 10K Run and CA$45.41 for the 5K Walk. Team and organization rates are available for larger groups (groups of 10 or more; groups of 20 or more and non-profit groups).
