Toronto Island Run

Website

The Toronto Island Run, organized by Longboat Roadrunners, is a family-friendly running event held on Toronto's Centre Island. It features 10K and 5K races on flat, scenic courses ideal for personal bests or beginners. The event also includes kids' races: a 1-mile race for ages 7-12 and a 1 km fun run for ages 2-6, with parents allowed to accompany the youngest.

Participants enjoy a post-race picnic with complimentary BBQ lunch. The run is known for its welcoming atmosphere and is one of Toronto’s oldest 10K races. Water stations, bag check, and a photo booth enhance the experience.

The event supports Indigenous community charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
