The Torino City Marathon
The Torino City Marathon is an international competitive and non-competitive running event held in Turin, Italy. The event features a flat and fast course that is FIDAL certified and included in the AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) calendar. The route starts and finishes in the city center, passing through significant cultural sites, royal residences, and modern landmarks such as the Lingotto. In addition to Turin, the course crosses the metropolitan territories of Moncalieri, Beinasco, and Nichelino.
The event offers several distances to accommodate different levels of participants:
- 42.195 km (Marathon)
- Half Marathon
- City Run (shorter distance)
The marathon is open to international athletes and includes a dedicated category for wheelchair athletes competing at a competitive level. The course is entirely closed to traffic to ensure participant safety.
In the days leading up to the race, the Marathon Village is hosted at Green Pea. This hub serves as the mandatory point for participants to collect their race bibs and race packs. It also features partners and sponsors showcasing regional products and hosting sessions focused on sports and wellness.
