Tooele Kiwanis Club 5K Freedom Run
The Tooele Kiwanis Club 5K Freedom Run takes place in Tooele, Utah, as part of the local Independence Day celebrations. The event utilizes a point-to-point course that incorporates scenic areas and active parade routes.

The race begins at Settlement Canyon and proceeds past the toll booth toward Main Street (State Road 36). Upon reaching the intersection of Main Street and Skyline Drive, participants enter the official parade route. The course follows Main Street north, turns west onto Utah Avenue, and then moves south on 200 West. The finish line is located at the Tooele City Swimming pool park at the intersection of 200 West and Vine Street.
Water stops are available along the parade route for all participants. At the conclusion of the event, water and watermelon are provided at the finish area. Please note that a shuttle service to transport participants to the starting location is not available.
The event awards first, second, and third-place medals for the overall fastest male and female runners. Additionally, medals are awarded for the top three finishers in individual age categories for both male and female participants. Results and medal winners are announced at the park once the winning times are recorded. Registration includes a shirt and bib, which are distributed during designated pickup days prior to the race.
