Tomato Festival 5K Run/Walk : Crystal Springs, MS
The Tomato Festival 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, as part of the town's festival activities on June 27, 2026. The event starts and finishes at the Lee Avenue Community Center and follows a measured 5-kilometer route through town. Water and fruit are provided at the finish area. Participants may use the nearby public swimming pool after the event to cool off.
Race registration includes a t-shirt, race bib, and a swag bag. Pre-registration guarantees a race shirt and requires registration by Friday, June 19 for shirt-size assurance. Participants who register online by the published deadline may pick up race packets on Friday, June 26 at the gazebo in Railroad Park; all other registrants may pick up packets on the morning of the event at the Lee Avenue Community Center. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Parking is available at the Lee Avenue field next to the pool and at the parking lot on North Jackson Street, with volunteers directing vehicles on event day. Restroom facilities are available at the community center and portable toilets will be onsite.
Awards are given to the top overall and age-group finishers. Age divisions cover standard youth, adult, masters, and senior categories, and a team championship is scored by cumulative time for teams of four. Proceeds support city beautification projects.
