Tobermory Trail Race
The Tobermory Trail Race Weekend is a two-day trail running event held in Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five Marine National Park. The 2026 edition is scheduled for September 12th and 13th.
The event features multiple race distances across two days:
- A 42 km marathon
- A 21 km half marathon
- A 7 km run
- A 5 km run on Flowerpot Island
Saturday's 7 km, 21 km, and 42 km events take on a section of the Bruce Trail, with the 7 km and half marathon races including a bus ride to their start locations. Sunday's Flowerpot Island 5 km includes a boat tour to and from the island, plus breakfast after the run.
The event supports the Tobermory Primary Place Child Care Centre. In 2025, it raised $13,454.23 from participant donations, sponsors, and event proceeds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
