TinMan Joburg #5
TinMan Joburg #5 takes place on 29 November 2026 at Prime View in Olifantsfontein, Midrand, Gauteng. The event is organised by DELTA SPORT and is the fifth event in the 2026 TINMAN Series.
Distances and minimum ages include:
- Mini Tri: 200m swim / 6 km cycle / 2.5 km run, 8 yrs and up
- Super Sprint Tri: 400m swim / 10 km cycle / 2.5 km run, 12 yrs and up
- Sprint Tri & Relay: 750m swim / 20 km cycle / 5 km run, 16 yrs and up
- Sprint Duathlon: 5 km run / 20 km cycle / 2.5 km run, 16 yrs and up
- Challenge Tri & Relay: 1.2 km swim / 40 km cycle / 10 km run, 17 yrs and up
Swimming takes place in a dam. Cycling is on closed public roads for the bike leg. Running is offroad on gravel roads. Certain classes allow team entries with teams of two or three participants.
Race services listed by the organiser include timing race chips and race numbers, swim lifeguards, run marshals, medical assistance and a safety officer, a finishers medal, and on-course water and event refreshments. All athletes must hold a Triathlon SA licence or purchase a temporary day licence for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
