Timber Limits Trail Run
The Timber Limits Trail Run takes place on Saturday August 15, 2026 at Blood Tribe Timber Limits near Waterton Lakes National Park on the Chief Mountain Border Road. The event is open to the public and limited to 150 total registrations with no registration fee.
Distances offered:
- 2K kids run, 10 and under (max 30 entries)
- 5K open entry (max 80 entries)
- 10K run only (max 20 entries)
- 15K run only (max 20 entries)
The event is officially chip timed and includes water stations along the course. Pets are not allowed on the course. Lunch and beverages will be provided. Waiver forms must be signed at the event and race packages are available for pickup on race day.
Age categories are assigned by distance: the 2K is for 10 and under; the 5K has multiple age groups from youth to 50 plus; the 10K and 15K use age groups starting at 15 years and up. Prize distribution is by random draw of gift certificates: 16 draws for the 2K, 30 for the 5K, 10 for the 10K, and 10 for the 15K. The Wellness Program, partners, and volunteers are not responsible for sickness, injury, or loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
