Timber Limit Trail Run
The Timber Limit Trail Run is a community wellness event organized to support "Actioning Truth and Reconciliation Through Physical Wellness." It takes place on Saturday August 9, 2025 at Blood Tribe Timber Limits near Waterton Lakes National Park, AB on the Chief Mountain Border road. Entries are open to the public and registration is free. Total field size is capped at 150 participants.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 2K kids 10 and under. Max 30 entries.
- 5K open categories. Max 80 entries.
- 10K run only. Max 20 entries.
- 15K run only. Max 20 entries.
The event is officially chip timed. Mass starts are used for the listed distances and walking is not permitted in the 10K and 15K. Water stations are provided along the course. Pets and dogs are not allowed on course. Race packages are available on race day at Timber Limits and waiver forms must be signed at the time of the run. Results will be posted after the event.
Age categories are defined for each distance, including a single 10 and under category for the 2K, a range of age bands for the 5K, and five age bands for the 10K and 15K. Cash prize random draws are scheduled for each distance with multiple draws of CA$150 allocated across the 2K, 5K, 10K and 15K fields.
